LMF users and colleagues

Following feedback from some users with regard to the above, we would like to assure everyone concerned that the pilot was not intended to affect anyone.
The pilot was intended to test the technical aspects only, with access reset and modified as necessary. After successful testing and collating of feedback from pilot users, a futher announcement was going to be made, which was going to address;
- the goals/objectives of the scheme;
- the benefits;
- user guide and process.
A new microscopy portal and new booking system are currently in the baking, so the changes were mearnt to come all together.
I admit that it is incomprehensible to think of booking restrictions under current work processes and we apologise for raising unecessary panic.

We will provide more information/request feedback; well in time before any changes that affect everyone, are implemented.
