Dear All,
The multiphoton laser on the BioRad Radiance has failed. The microscope will therefore be unusable for MPLSM and FLIM work until the heat sync is replaced. I have spoken to the field engineer and the earliest they can visit is week beginning 6th March. I will let you know as soon as we have a confirmed date.
The Z motor on this microscope has been intermittently faulty, I am therefore going to take this opportunity to send the motor back for refurbishment whilst the MP laser is down. Consequently, although the BioRad will still work for Confocal Imaging, it will be without a Z motor for sectioning.
Best,
Sam
