> Next time htop gives you an surprisingly busy OMERO server process then do feel free to take a few jstack traces (as previously described), zip them up and submit them in the usual way and we'll be glad to look at them to try to see exactly what that process is busy doing. Feel free to restart the server once you've got the traces of course, to restore decent service to your users.
