Dear everybody,

I hope this email finds you very well.

I am writing because at the last minute an opening has been made for a competitive PhD studentship jointly funded by BBSRC/ESRC to start this September in my group, to study the use of “crowd sourcing” and “gamification” strategies to accelerate analysis, interpretation and generation of added value from biological imaging Big Datasets in collaboration with the novel IDR resourcehttp://idr.openmicroscopy.org/about/ <http://idr.openmicroscopy.org/about/> .

I am looking for highly talented candidates with a computational, mathematical and/or quantitative microscopy background, to apply for this studentship asap.

Please can you forward the attached ad and tell whoever you think could be interested to please email me directly at rafael.carazosalas at bristol.ac.uk <mailto:rafael.carazosalas at bristol.ac.uk> ?

Many thanks for your help!

Best,

Rafael
