Hi All

Just to add to what Josh pointed out-- full support for archiving is something we have been asked to provide at our Paris Users Meetings.

As always, we will do this, but in steps. The upcoming model updates in 5.1 are part of that. Next comes fully supported Export-- the predecessor to archiving data in the way Tim asks. That opens the door to many different archiving mechanisms.

Cheers,

Jason

Hi Tim,

You didn't overlook anything; it's not something that's currently possible in plain OMERO.
There's of course the offering from DAX Archiving which Kees mentions which you may want to
try. Otherwise, the best suggestion I can offer at the moment is that you create a new group,
e.g. "GroupName (archived)" and move the data there.

Perhaps someone else has found a workable solution?
