<p dir="ltr">Just to add to what Josh pointed out-- full support for archiving is something we have been asked to provide at our Paris Users Meetings.
</p>
<p dir="ltr">As always, we will do this, but in steps. The upcoming model updates in 5.1 are part of that. Next comes fully supported Export-- the predecessor to archiving data in the way Tim asks. That opens the door to many different archiving mechanisms.

You didn't overlook anything; it's not something that's currently possible in plain OMERO.<br>
There's of course the offering from DAX Archiving which Kees mentions which you may want to<br>
try. Otherwise, the best suggestion I can offer at the moment is that you create a new group,<br>
e.g. "GroupName (archived)" and move the data there. <br>
