I will not be able to attempt another upload of the 2GB image until Sunday.
However, I can add the following information about this problem I have 
reading XYZ multi-series ND2.

1. It is still a problem in version 5.0.4
2. Replacing formats-gpl-5.0.4.jar with formats-gpl-5.0.2.jar, while 
leaving the others at 5.0.4, enables the ND2 file to be read properly, 
so the problem appears to be in formats-gpl-5.0.4.jar
