Dear Curtis,

Thank you for getting back to Chase so quickly while I was out to an early lunch.

I sent him rev 750b4ab, built 2 May 2013 and he emailed me he thinks it's working.

Let's see.  If all is working fine now, I guess there was a change since then.

Actually, this is why I stay away from FIJI; too many things change too fast and get auto-updated before I have a chance to QC them.

The Series Options dialog will appear if:
A) The dataset has multiple series; and
B) The "Open all series" box is not checked.

Are you and your colleague both using the same .scn file?

If so, double check the version of Bio-Formats on each machine:
Help > About Plugins > LOCI Plugins

Do you both have the same "revision" code and build date?

I suggest using Fiji with the latest Bio-Formats daily build, as described at:
http://fiji.sc/Bio-Formats#Daily_builds

I am attempting to import an .scn image file into imageJ using the LOCI bioformats importer plugin. I would like to reach the prompt where I can select distinct series. Attached are two screenshots, one is the import options screen that I reach when I select a file to import - when I click OK it loads the image without prompting for series options. The second screenshot is the series option prompt (from a colleague's PC) that I would like to reach. I am working on a macbook pro laptop. Windowless is not checked in LOCI plugins preferences.
