[ome-users] problem reading TIF images with 13.04.2

Dear Bio-Formats Developers,

with a relatively recent snapshot of Bio-Formats, I have a problem decoding
some MetaXpress TIFF images that used to work with older Bio-Formats. I don't
know the precise version I tried, sorry. Attached is one such file that fails
to read, even though MetaXpress claims the image should be ok, and older
Bio-Formats happily reads the file as well.

Below is part of the error message that I recovered, I tried twice and got
reproducibly twice the same error:

loci.formats.FormatException: java.io.EOFException: Attempting to read beyond
