[ome-users] [Windows] Help with accessing webadmin/webclient system through browser

Hello.  I have been tasked with testing the latest OMERO server
deployment in my microscopy lab and am having some slight issues with
the included django webserver configuration.  

 

I only have access to the webadmin/webclient directly on the server
hosting the omero server.  When I start the django webserver, I noticed
that it is only listening on http://127.0.0.1:8000/ (command windows
shows "Development server is running at http://127.0.0.1:8000/").  I
also tried editing the hosts file in C:\windows\system32 to include a
hostname and the static IP address assigned to this box.

 

Just to cover all the bases I can, the OMERO server is running
flawlessly so far.  test clients are able to connect seamlessly in my
lab and uploading images works perfectly so far.  The problem described
above only affects the webadmin/webclient server.
