[ome-users] import bottle neck

Hi there,

 

What are the bottlenecks for importing images into ome? When I look at my
system (CPU/Network) I don't see anything that is overly busy. 

My conclusion would be that somehow the I/O would be rate limiting and a
RAID system would be able to help, but I am not too sure about this.

 

Any suggestions?

I am looking for hardware suggestion to get the optimal performance, or I
would like to see the system CPU limited.
