Right. Only Analysis Chains can be executed.

Are you sure you want to tie module xml files to perl code? Do you 
implement your quantitative image analysis algorithms in perl? Wow!
Yes that is possible and we often use it but only grudgingly to do OME 
trickery. What you probably want is to tie xml files to MATLAB .m 
files.
