OMERO internally assigns LSIDs on import and export, allowing you to link data from
one instance back to its source. The mechanisms are in place for supporting third-party
LSIDs but this is not turned on, primarily because no one generates them. If you are
interested in doing this at the scopes, please let us know.

The current implementation is to use the primary key of the object hashed with a
UUID for the OMERO instance, though that could likely be made flexible.
