My assumption would be once all the users have been added to the appropriate groups, everything should be visible when you log into that group for viewing. After that, they can log in and move their data to the appropriate group.

I'm fine with doing this via the CLI, however I'm still confused why *I* 
can't see those images, even though my account is in both groups - just 
want to be sure there isn't an additional problem hidden somewhere.

But of course, we can fix the image-user-assignment first, so this 
particular user can access his data again.
