We are currently looking for a *Senior BioSystems Applications Manager
(SBAM) in the US Northwest Region* to be responsible for the training of
core microscopy, Imaging, Confocal, and Super Resolution products and
applications in addition to being the primary source for advanced training,
application support and knowledge for the sales representatives in your
region. The SBAM position will support both the direct and dealer sales
teams on key demos and provide the first tier of technical and application
support to the customers and sales representatives with respect to core
microscopy products. The SBAM will be asked to* *attend courses and trade
shows and work with key researchers and third party vendors to develop
understanding and expertise regarding advanced biological research and
clinical applications that utilize our products while providing feedback to
the Product group for new technology and future product development
directions.
The ideal candidate should possess a BS in Biological or Scientific Field
of Study along with 5+ years experience working in the bio research capital
equipment market place; particularly in a technical support role. Graduate
level education is a plus. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid
understating of both computer software, hardware and networking
applications as well as advanced knowledge of Light Microscopy and Digital
Imaging related to advanced biological research and experience with
advanced fluorescence, laser and confocal microscope applications. Experience
in providing corporate training, technical support, and education on highly
technical equipment and/or scientific applications are essential to the
success of this role. Candidate must have the ability to travel overnight
(up to 40%).
