Dear All,

Please can I encourage you to participate in this short online survey
at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=810523263010 which is
designed to provide feedback to the OME software development team
about your microscope and image analysis requirements. This will
directly influence the ongoing development of the Open Microscopy
Environment software being designed in the School of Life Sciences.
Even if you don't think this has anything to do with you, the very
fact that you are on the LM-announce mailing list means that your
opinions do matter. Better still, there are 5 ipods on offer in a
prize draw that you will have the option to be entered into upon
participation and the survey shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

Thanks!
Sam

Survey of imaging in life sciences - your say will make a difference

Before you delete this email....

....we would like to invite you to take part in an online survey
exploring the use of imaging in the life sciences.

YOU ARE NOT WASTING YOUR TIME BECAUSE OF A FEW REASONS

There are 5 iPods to win, and you enter the drawing just by filling
out the survey. More importantly, you'll help the OME and Usable
Image teams (both based in Dundee, trying to help you do your work)
make better software for your image analysis.

The survey should take only 15-20 minutes of your time. To find out
more about the survey, and to take part, please go to:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=810523263010

Thanking you in advance for your interest,
The Usable Image Team

Background information:
This survey of WTB staff is being conducted by the EPSRC-funded
Usable Image project, a joint project of the University's School of
Computing and the Swedlow Lab in the Division of Gene Regulation and
Expression, and supporting the activities of the Open Microscopy
Environment. We'll use the survey data to provide background
information on practices in image acquisition, management and
visualisation, which will inform the ongoing development of imaging
software being developed here.
