Dear All,

Just an email to let you know that Zeiss will be demonstrating the
above microscopes on Tuesday and Wednesday next week in the Light
Microscopy Facility. The axio observer is an inverted microscope
intended to make "light work of live cell imaging", whereas the axio
imager is based on an upright stand and boasts "uncompromising
optics". The Zeiss apotome (a structured illumination system for
removing out of focus blur from images, see: http://www.zeiss.com/
c12567be0045acf1/Contents-Frame/1268311e3af7907ac1256c30004625b5)
will also be demonstrated. If you want to come along and have a look
or would just like to say hi to our friends from Zeiss, please let
me, Calum Thomson or Paul Appleton know tomorrow or Monday so that we
can arrange a time for you.

Cheers,
Sam
