[ome-devel] Getting some meta data

Hi Mathias,

Most of these are just special names for things that exist in the  
omero model already (see http://www.improvision.com/pdfs/technotes/ 
TN422.pdf) for details.

If I'm reading the improvision technotes correctly, the  
microncalibrations you're referring to are our pixelSizes in the OME  
model. These values will be automatically imported into the omero  
model if they are included in the file format and you can view them  
in insight under the image info.

The ChannelName is mapped to our logicalchannel.name field I believe.  
This would be similar to a channel annotation. Although I do set the  
logicalchannel.name in the database if its present, our design  
encourages users to put annotations on the channels, so don't think  
we've ever displayed the channelname in insight.

Values like 'BlackPoint' and 'WhiteColor' are cutoff values used by  
Volocity's rendering settings. We don't use those in omero.
