Dear Susanne,

Thank you very much for the update; we wish you luck with the reader
issue. For our part, and with
https://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipermail/ome-users/2018-March/006952.html
in mind, in the longer term I would love for our interest in
incrementing toward a less monolithic architecture to lead us to a place
where a busy or troubled Bio-Formats reader is occupying its own process
separate from OMERO.server's other activity so at least such behaviors
might become less problematic and easier to pin down.
