Dear all,
Orbit 2.8 is out with support for Omero 5.4.x. In addition version 2.853
has been released with the same features, but compatible with Omero 5.3.x.
Orbit makes use of bioformats 5.7.3.
A new masking functionality is available wich allows you to combine models,
e.g. one model defines active areas and then a
second one is applied inside these active areas, for details see the mask
tutorial <http://www.orbit.bio/masks/>.
Orbit can be used to analyze whole slide images (WSI) standalone or via
Omero.
If you're interested, please give it a try: http://www.orbit.bio
As always, many thanks to OME for the great bioformats library and Omero!
Kind regards,
Manuel
