Dear all,
today I released the new Orbit version 2.65 with bioformats 5.5.3 and many
new features. Omero 5.3.x support.
It can be used to analyze whole slide images (WSI) standalone or via Omero.
- The result of a collaboration with the ZHAW is a Mumford-Shah based
segmentation algorithm which is
able to segment cells within dense cell clusters:

- More fluo options, e.g. you can have individual channel-color assignments
- Improved tile caching (speed improvement)
- Bugfix for 16bit images
If you're interested, please give it a try: http://www.orbit.bio
And again, thanks to OME for the great bioformats library!
Regards,
Manuel
