How does Insight manifest its unhappiness; it's just as if the user
mistyped their password? Is anything interesting reported in Insight's
log, or in the server's Blitz-0.log, at the same time?

(This is a 5.1.3 server and Insight on 5.1.2 or 5.1.3?)

That's also my impression. Which version of templates.xml does your
server now run with? Do you usually need to make any local changes,
other than the Java 8 workaround?
