Dear David,
This is probably not the most appropriate list for this type of
question, since this list is for OME software-related questions and
discussion, rather than staining techniques.
One (possibly naïve) suggestion would be to insert a tetracysteine motif
into your td-Tomato and then use ReAsH-catalysed DAB photoconversion.
Unless the td-Tomato protein causes any complications; I've not tried
this personally.
