[ome-users] Super-resolution data in OMERO

Hi All-

On travel, I will say that for those of us on the Eastern side of the UK, getting to the Western side adds a nonlinear amount of time to a train journey. Balance that with the high cost of hotel, food, etc in London. There's also the simple math of minimising the number of people traveling. Finally, if this is successful and useful, there will be more than one meeting, so plenty to go around.

On funding, OME would be happy to contribute-I have a finance meeting tomorrow after which I can confirm how much.

On meeting arrangements, the limiting factor for **development** meetings in the past is easy, seamless, fast access to University wifi and/or networks for all operating systems. Don't take this for granted, as it is not simple.

And, of course, good coffee.

More tomorrow.

Cheers,

Jason

Dear all
Perhaps more important than the exact location is the availability of funds. Micron can provide some funding for a meeting in Oxford. I am coming to this discussion late
as I am travelling, but are funds needed?
Regards
Ilan

Dear Paul and everyone,

I agree London might be easiest. Perhaps IC would be best if you don't mind, as IC may has more experience with OME. I would be happy to come.

All the best,

I may be biased but I think London is easier to reach for the majority - and particularly for those London-based commuters who would have to travel into London and then out to Oxford. We are happy to host a meeting at IC or to travel, e.g. to UCL or KCL

Best wishes,

Paul

We would be happy to host this meeting here in Oxford. Obviously we would have to discus dates etc but in principle we are pretty flexible for use of our main seminar room (seats 100) and/or some of our meeting rooms (seat max 15).
