p.s.  I think the error occurs only with time lapse sequences that were stopped manually before the total number of frames were collected.

Would you please look into this error with ND2 files?

I just uploaded a file "ND2 file does not open MCammer.nd2" to "ftpuser at dev.loci.wisc.edu<mailto:ftpuser at dev.loci.wisc.edu>" which opens neither with 4.4-DEV revision 6733597 12 Sep 2012 nor with the newer Release 4.4.4 revision 96c615b 25 Sep 2012.  This file is a simple time lapse of a few channels.
