Hi Alexander

Thanks for your email.

By far the best way to get feedback on OMERO is to use the ome-users
list. See:

http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/community

for more info.

With respect to your issues, please tell us which version of OMERO
you are running. Specific responses:

1. Switching of display channels can happen if we are not able to
cover the full set of metadata in a file (we are working hard on
this, see next email). You can copy and paste the display settings
for one image to a full dataset, and any dataset in the database.
Obviously, not a full solution. We are working hard to extend our
coverage of metadata, especially in Bio-Formats and OMERO. This is
a very hard and laborious task, and obviously a moving target. Let
us know if you have specific files that are problematic-- if we can
use them for testing, that would be a huge help.

2. This was a bug in OMERO-Beta3 (http://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/
shoola/ticket/625) and fixed in Beta-3.1, which was released in October.

If at all possible, upgrade to Beta3.2. There are many bug fixes and
performance enhancements.

Cheers,

Jason
