[ome-users] Moving OME to a new machine

______
Step 1

Move your OME root directory over to the new machine.

______
Step 2

Dump the database and restore on the new machine using pg_dump and pg_restore.

______
Step 3

UPDATE repositories SET image_server_url 'http://newhost/cgi-bin/omeis' WHERE attribute_id $id;

______
Step 4

Add OME Apache directives to httpd.conf.

This of course assumes many things like the architecture of the two
machines being the same, the GLIBC versions being the same, etc. If
they're not you'll want to run the installer after Step 3.

Ciao.
