Hi Alastair

I guess you didn't specify a proper url for OMEDS:
open the config.xml file (in Shoola/config)
then modify yourhost

<structuredEntry name="/services/OMEDS" type = "OMEDS">

<url>http://yourhost/shoola/"</url>

</structuredEntry>

it should work
