[ome-devel] dat project for federated metadata/feature storage

I've been keeping an eye on the dat project for a while ("git for data"):

and after hearing Josh wish for a CSV-diff tool I finally tried it out. First impressions are it's not complete enough to rely on and it's missing a lot of features. However they've got big plans- see some of the use cases including a bioinformatics one at:

Has anyone else tried it out, or considered using it?
