Hi Eric,

thanks for your feedback on the homebrew installation of OMERO. It looks like the Ice 3.4 binaries are not found in your path.

How did you install Ice 3.4 on your Mac?  Did you download the binaries from the zeroc website, did you compile it manually from sources or did you use the the homebrew formula for Ice 3.4 (brew install ome/alt/ice)?

If using the Homebrew installation, it should symlink binaries, including slice2java, to /usr/local/bin. Is /usr/local/bin in your PATH.
If using binaries downloads/manual compilation, have you prepended /path_to_ice_3.4/bin to your PATH?

I'm trying to install the latest version of Omero onto my Mac Pro (running OS X 10.7.4); however, I keep running into an error message at the "$ brew install omero" step while using homebrew, and I was wondering if you could help.  Here is message I keep getting:

However, I have the latest version of Ice installed (version 3.4 for Mac 10.7) and in the same directory as everything else I'm using for this project.  Could you point me in the right direction?
