[ome-devel] filename pattern

Hi,
I want to add a row to filename_pattern table for a new image importer.  I can easily add it using the database.  But I think it is better to do it through the web or scripts.  Is there a web interface function for this?  How did the TIFF filename pattern got in there?
Sorry for the stupid question.  I am looking forward to some useful information .
