The other computers need to be able to reach your OMEIS server.
if you do this:
psql ome
ome=# select * from repositories;

What is the value of the image_server_url column?  A localhost URL 
won't work.
can you reach this URL from these other computers?
If you try to access that URL from a browser on another computer, the 
error message should be:
Error calling OMEIS: Method parameter missing
If you get any other error (server not found, page not found, etc), 
then this URL doesn't match the real location of OMEIS.
You can simply change the value of this column to wherever your OMEIS 
lives, and things should work.
