Can you send me the contents of PerlModuleTask.log? Should be in
/var/tmp/OME/install.

Here, your can just use the hostname, "foobar_machine" for example. Or,
in the best case scenario the FQDN (fully qualified domain name) of the
machine; "foobar_machine.domain.com" for example.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "default data directory," can you
copy and paste the installer question that you're having problems with?

No problem, just try and get a hold of the PerlModuleTask.log. :)
