Dear All,
The BioRad has been fully serviced, the Z motor has been replaced, the multiphoton laser diodes have been replaced… our first user said it was "driving like a porsche" which I take as a good sign. This microscope is now up and running – good times! Now the bad news; we have noticed a few bugs following some software revisions and you may find more. At the moment the pattern illumination (region of interest scanning) is not behaving as it should do; we're working on a fix at the moment. We also had to reinstall most of the drivers a few days ago to get round some microscope/laser/computer interface issues. Please let us know if absolutely anything, however trivial, does not work as you expect it to. And please please please keep this microscope clean. It is beautifully shiny and new at the moment and we'd like it to stay that way.
Thanks!
Sam
