Dear All,
Just a quick email to reassure you all that the LMF spectris and 2nd
floor spectris are now working.
The LMF spectris has been reconfigured as a single camera system.
This means that you shouldn't have problems with the "pixel size
error" bug when launching the DV controller software now.
For those of you who have had to share a stage insert on the Mfloor
and LMF spectris, both scopes now have their own insert. Could I
remind people that it is very important not to move parts between
microscopes without talking to me first and to make sure that you
return them immediately after use.
Finally, can I also remind you all that the fluorescence burners need
to run for an hour before being switched off. If you cut your
session short, please remember to leave the lamp on for an hour
before you switch it off. This has been happening a lot recently and
is shortening the life of the bulbs.
Cheers!
Sam
