Dear All,

We have revised the filter configuration on the 2 floor spectris as
follows:

EX/EM: DAPI FITC CFP YFP GFP mCherry
DCs: QUAD, JP4, JP3, GFP/mCherry

This system has 3 laser lines for photokinetic experiments (406, 488,
532). Although the FRET dichroic has been replaced, it is still
possible to do acceptor photobleaching FRET. Please contact me if
you wish to use this microscope for FRET. GFP FRAP should be done
with the 488 and the FITC filter.

We will be updating the mfloor spectris to gfp/mCherry in the near
future. I will send a full list of filter sets when we come to do
this to help you choose the best microscope for your work. In the
meantime, fixed work (esp. DAPI, FITC, TRITC, CY5) can still be done
on the LMF spectris, and if these filters are required for LIVE CELL
experiments, the mfloor spectris is configured with DAPI, FITC,
TRITC, CY5, CFP, YFP, GFP. This microscope also has 3 laser lines.

Cheers,
Sam
