Hi Again Paul

A couple of things that might help.

1) For a perfect fit model (background, irf , noise etc ) the normalised residuals should be fla (i.e. roughly the same at all time-points) & average out to zero with an absolute value of one.
This is very hard to get but if you clearly have more (normalised) noise in one part of the decay it can indicate they something isn’t right.

2) The correlation tab allows you to display the correlation of any of your parameters with any other.
If , say, intensity & lifetime are correlated, this too can alert you to problems.
