[ome-users] Bug report: Missing ‘OK’ and ‘Cancel’ buttons on Bioformats importer dialog box

Hi Genevieve,

Thank you for reporting this issue. This issue has been introduced recently with updates in ImageJ 1.51v, older versions will not display the problem no matter which version of Bio-Formats is being used.
The changes relate to the layout of the GenericDialog menu which is used by the Bio-Formats Importer and has resulted in the “Ok” and “Cancel” buttons disappearing from the Series Options window.
We are currently working on an update for the Bio-Formats plugin to resolve the problem and I have opened a Trello card to track this issue https://trello.com/c/fLfam2fx/17-plugin-missing-ok-and-cancel-buttons-on-series-options.

Exact error message:
* No error message is produced, but the BioFormats Importer dialog window for selecting image series does not display the "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons in the bottom left corner. Screenshot attached.

* Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3 (user @pr4deepr<http://forum.imagej.net/u/pr4deepr> evidently is NOT using a Mac)
* Fiji version: 2.0.0-rc-65/1.51v, build: 961c5f1b7f, date: 2018-01-31T01:02:30+0000:
* BioFormats version: 5.8.0 (21 Feb 2018)
* java version "1.8.0_144". Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_144-b01). Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.144-b01, mixed mode)

Metadata and screenshots:
* Expected .lif file with ~90 image series, most of which contain 4 colour channels and 45 timepoints. 16 bit data.
