Hi Feriel,

thanks for contacting us. The ImageJ forum thread is indeed the relevant place where
the nature of the issue is discussed and the place we will update with progress on our
front.
We definitely expect to fix this regression in a upcoming patch release of Bio-Formats.

Best,
Sebastien

Hello,
Since December 13th I have been unable to import lif files by calling the Bioformats Importer through a previously functional macro code. I now use the bioformats_package.jar in the plugins folder from a much older release of Bioformats, and it works fine. Since I am a novice user, I would like to direct your attention to the posts made on this thread of the ImageJ Forum:http://forum.imagej.net/t/recent-issue-with-bioformats-multiposition-file-opening-from-a-macro-macro/3496 where users more experienced than I have articulated the issue in greater detail. Is there anything we as users can do to bypass this error, or will a patch be released for the most recent version?
