[ome-users] import is slow

Hi,

I am importing Zeiss LSM files  into OME server, using the command:

ome import  filename.lsm

This is quite slow, about 40 seconds per file.  The files are 2 channels of 512x512 or 1.1 Mbytes.

Is this usual, or can I do something to increase the import speed?
