I *pressed* Ctrl-C in order to shutdown the server again (sorry, I 
should have mentioned that).

Mh, where does this Rev-number come from? It has to be read out from 
somewhere, right?
So, did I forget to export a kind of $OMERO_HOME? But that's the only 
idea I have ...

What I did in order to start the server was

export JAVA_HOME=path_to_java_directory
export JBOSS_HOME=new_path_to_JBoss_directory
$JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.sh
