[ome-users] updating OME

Dear All, 
I've had a wee  look at the documentation and can't find an answer to
this:  I am about to try to update to the latest version of OME. I have
an older version installed (last June,- thanks again Ilya).  

I'd like to check whether a clean install would be advisable (if so how
to 'make clean') or if an update should work ok I assume the update
procedure would be to run a cvs update on the OME directory then rerun
the install.pl script?
