Hi Dennis,

Im afraid in the near term converting the files may be your best option. I have opened a card on our New File Formats Trello board noting the request to add support for these formats.
We currently have a very limited number of .lof/xlef files, so if you have any samples which you can upload to http://qa.openmicroscopy.org.uk/qa/upload/ that would very helpful.

All deconvolved pictures are saved in .lof/xlef- and not in .lif-Format. Are there any plans/chance that Bio-Formats will support these formats anytime soon?
The only chance we see in the moment is to convert the .lof/xlef files to .lif with the LAS X free version, but that consumes so much time to "batch convert" erverything.
