Hi Wendy,
Thank you for uploading the sample dataset. I was able to test and reproduce the issue as you had reported. Thankfully it appears that although the display name in the titlebar is incorrect the datasets themselves are being read and parsed as expected. The issue should also not be present in datasets which do not contain an underscore character in the filename of the nd file.
This is however still a bug and as such I have opened a Trello card on the Bio-Formats inbox to track this issue - https://trello.com/c/823WSGPH/247-metamorph-incorrect-image-name-in-title-bar
With Thanks,
David Gault

David,
I uploaded a set of three file sets. Note that the images are all blank--nothing pretty to look at (they were the first database I came across).
When I opened set "..._3.nd", the window showed the name for the first .tif in the folder. When looking at the Image Information, it has the title from the first tif in the folder but the correct path for the .nd file.
Thanks!
Wendy

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for getting in touch, is it only the name on the image window which appears incorrect or has the import used additional files from the other dataset ? If you have some sample datasets that reproduce this problem it would be very helpful. You can upload them to https://www.openmicroscopy.org/qa2/qa/upload/
With Thanks,
David Gault

Hello,
My users and I are experiencing a strange problem when opening MetaMorph .nd files. If there are multiple .nd data sets in a folder, the image window shows the name of the first .nd file from the folder rather than the actual file that was opened. I am happy to provide some datasets if necessary.
Best,
Wendy
