Dear All,
We are pleased to announce the release of version 4.11.1 of the open-source Fluorescence Lifetime fitting and visualisation tool FLIMfit. Version 4.11.1 is available for download at: http://flimfit.org/downloads/4.11.1/
This is a bug-fix release to address a problem that has arisen with the Windows installer.
Please note that, unfortunately this means that, for the moment, older versions will not install on Windows.
If you need to install older versions of FLIMfit on Windows ,for example, if they are working with a 5.0.x or 5.1.x OMERO server that can’t be updated, then please contact us via the FLIMfit-users mailing list http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/flimfit-users for a workaround.
Bug Fixes
* A problem with the FLIMfit Windows installer has been resolved. A third-party dependency downloaded by the installer was moved, causing the downloader to fail.
Updates/Improvements
The default background level for wide-field data has now been set to zero, rather than 200 as before.
The default can be adjusted in the preferences (Tools->Preferences)
