This list really isn't the most appropriate for this type of question.
You might want to try the confocal list
(http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy) or have a look
for a list specifically for electron microscopy where questions about
experimental protocols and sample preparation will get a response from
people who are more knowledgable in this area.
