[ome-users] Unable to open .lif file

We have had reports of this in the past; as far as we know, the problem
was resolved in Bio-Formats 5.0.6 (see
https://trac.openmicroscopy.org/ome/ticket/12144).

Before uploading a file, I would suggest checking which version is
installed by selecting "Help > About Plugins > Bio-Formats Plugins" in
Fiji.  If your installation is completely up to date, that should show
that version 5.1.3 is installed.  If you see a different version number,
you may need to run the updater again (see
http://imagej.net/Frequently_Asked_Questions#How_can_I_verify_that_my_ImageJ_is_really_100.25_up_to_date.3F).

If the version number is 5.1.3 and you still see the error message, then
please do upload a file as indicated previously and we will investigate
further.
