That is indeed a lot of files. It may be worth reading through
https://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/support/omero/sysadmins/import-scenarios.html
in case some of your users would find a non-GUI import method is more
convenient. If some of the other options turn out to be confusing or
unsuitable for your large-scale import needs, please don't hesitate to
