thanks for your advice. I wrote to the computing center, it seems we can 
get some 400GB space for the database.

Where is the Index portion located? I don't see it in the binary repository:

[root at lmu-omero2 ~]# ls /data/OMERO/
DropBox  Files  FullText  Pixels  Thumbnails

How many GB do you recommend to dedicate for the index?
