Hello All,
We are looking at the removal of the OTF element (the optical transfer function) from our data model. It is something that had been present from the 2003-FC data model and we have not seen much use of it thus far.
We are now looking at moving into modelling other imaging modes where other response functions will need to be stored. Rather than add these explicitly as is the case with OTF we think these should be added using the Structured Annotation system we have in place. To make this consistent we would like to mark the OTF structure as 'Deprecated' in the next release, then remove it in the one after.
Is anyone currently storing data in the OTF part of the model?
If you are, please get in touch. Nothing has been finalised yet so we would value your input.
Thanks,
Andrew
